Fort Worth, Texas
Cole popped the question to his impossibly cute girl, Paige, not too long ago. And to celebrate — an engagement session with us! This is our first shoot here in America, plus it was out of town. It was fun to explore the streets & gardens of Fort Worth with these two lovers.
We’ve been really enjoying playing with low light lately. There’s something about it that has a great energy and when you add two flirtatious sweethearts it has a beautiful intimate mood. Of course, having said all that, it’s hard to beat sunshine glistening through the trees. When you shoot in the late afternoon and into the evening, you get both!
Thanks for letting us capture the love, guys. Congrats on finding the one!
It is with both a little sadness and great happiness that we say “See ya Australia — Hello USA”.
We will be living and operating Trigger Happy Images in Tulsa, Oklahoma and surrounding states until September 2013. We’re really excited to be shooting somewhere fresh for a season and on a personal note, we are excited to be with our American side of the family for the year. Tulsa is Dodge’s hometown, so it’s a delight to be here.
To all our faithful and ever-supportive Australian clients/friends (we always feel like we’re friends with our clients by the end of the shoot!), WE WILL BE BACK! It’s “see ya later”, not “goodbye forever”. We are taking bookings from November 2013 onwards, so drop us an email — we’d love to hear from you.
To our new Americans, let us know when we can shoot you! We’d love to meet with you! We thrive on travel, so even if you’re not based specifically in Tulsa, we can come to you — in fact, we’d absolutely LOVE to come to where you are in this stunning country.
Thanks for your support and your un-ending encouragement!
Dodge & Bel
The lovely Luke & Janine welcomed their new little man into the world a few weeks ago. Janine was born to be a mum — doesn’t she just look so content. Congrats on your gorgeous baby, guys!
This beautiful couple are engaged.
We spent one perfect afternoon with them capturing the love, down at Fingal. The conditions were perfect: pretty people, stunning light, gorgeous location, a picnic, sparklers, party poppers and champagne. We couldn’t ask for better. Congrats on your engagement, Tegan & Jordan!
This is what happens when a groom has a verbal slip at the altar. We love capturing wedding moments like these!
After having a lengthy 6 weeks off the grid, wandering about the USA, we’re back and better than ever.
We shall endeavour to post a few images captured on our travels. Here’s a little taster for now, shot at Salvation Mountain in southern California.
"We travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic of creativity. When we get home, home is still the same. But something in our mind has been changed, and that changes everything." – Jonah Lehrer
Blue skies, driftwood teepees and love, love, love… just lovely! Congrats Julie & Darren!
A little rain, but mainly smiles and a few tears at this gorgeous garden wedding for Scott & Rachel. It was one of the most heartfelt intimate ceremonies we’ve ever had the honour to capture. True love… ahh… tis so very beautiful.
Beautiful people. Beautiful location. Congrats Angela & Ed!
Stay tuned for more.
Two dear friends of mine invited me to document the birth of their firstborn, Liberty. I’ve shot a lot of different events as a photographer and shared in many sacred moments that have been truly an honour to witness. I’m so happy to add this one to my list. This was perhaps one of the most intense raw human experiences I’ve ever shot.
These are a selection of images the gorgeous Ben & Sabrina Peters have graciously allowed me to share with the world. Thanks for trusting me with these moments. Love all three of you!
